Help! My Himalayan Salt Lamp is sweating. What should I do?
The answer to this is pretty simple. If you follow specific care instructions, your lamp will last a long time.

You must keep your salt lamp ON to keep it warm. Salt is hygroscopic, which means it will absorb moisture from the air to cleanse all the impurities.

We recommend to keep your Himalayan salt lamp on for 16 hours a day. Don't worry, it will not cost too much on your electricity bill.

Clean your salt lamp specially if it is sweating. Simply wipe it with a damp clean cloth. Don't overdo the dampness of the material as excess water will dissolve the salt. Hold carefully the cord when you need to clean the base too.

Do not drag your lamp on furniture as it will cause scratches, it is best to use placemats or something to protect.

Do not place your lamp next to loud speakers, or on top of electronics.

If it is humid or raining, leave your salt lamp on as moisture in the air is increased, and your rock salt lamp will assist with evaporation.

You need to ensure your power is SWITCH OFF when plugging in, unplugging, moving the lamp or changing the bulb.

If leaving the house and will not use for a long period of time, It is advisable to cover your salt lamp with a cling wrap or plastic bag to prevent moisture from the lamp. Make sure it is dry and it was already unplugged before covering.

Do handle the electrical cord and bulb with care as mishandling can cause fusing of bulbs.
